Siargao in 3 Days: Surfing Cloud 9 and Island-Hopping

3 DAYS 1 place by WaTrips

Surfing at Cloud 9, island-hopping, lagoons and coconut-lined roads.

Siargao is the Philippines' surf island, laid-back and green. Watch or ride the famous Cloud 9 break from its wooden boardwalk, then spend a day island-hopping to Naked, Daku and Guyam islands. Explore the lagoons and rock pools, ride a scooter along palm-lined roads to the coconut viewpoint, and finish with sunset and seafood in General Luna. Surf is biggest from August to November; March to October is drier.

Cloud 9 Siargao

Cloud 9 is the famous surf break of Siargao, known for its powerful barrel waves. A long wooden boardwalk leads out over the reef to a viewing tower where visitors can watch surfers. The surf season peaks from about September to November, when international competitions are held. Outside the swell season the area is calmer and good for beginners nearby.
