Baidyanath Dham and Parasnath in 3 Days

3 DAYS 5 places by WaTrips

Baidyanath Jyotirlinga and Trikut hill, the Maluti temples, then Shikharji on Parasnath Hill and Usri Falls.

Jharkhand holds two great pilgrimages. Day one visits the Baidyanath temple in Deoghar, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and the ropeway on Trikut hill. Day two goes to Maluti's cluster of terracotta temples. Day three climbs Parasnath Hill to Shikharji, where twenty of the twenty-four Jain Tirthankaras are said to have attained nirvana, and stops at Usri Falls. The month of Shravan, in July and August, brings huge crowds to Deoghar; October to March is the most comfortable.
